Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan is ranked fourth in Bollywood in terms of earning money after Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan. The name of his father is Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who is former captain of Indian Cricket Team. In addition, his father hailed from the respected royal family of Pataudis and renowned film actress, Sharmila Tagore. Saif Ali Khan was born on 16 August 1970 in New Delhi Mansoor Ali Khan remained Nawab of Pataudi from the year 1952–71. After his death, a pagri ceremony was held in the village of Pataudi, Haryana, in order to crown Saif as the tenth Nawab of Pataudi.

After his graduation from abroad, Khan returned to India and started working in the advertising industry in New Delhi. He had two months of experience of working for the advertising industry when he first time modelled in a television commercial for Gwalior  Suiting, honouring the request of his friend.

 Afterwards, he agreed to work on a project directed by Anand Mahindroo, however, the project could not be materialized. With the aim of joining Hindi films, Saif shifted to Mumbai. He made his entry to the film industry by debuting in Yash Chopra’s film ‘Parampara’ in 1993. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a flop film. Aamir Khan also acted in this movie. His romantic roles in movies like ‘Yeh Dillagi’ (1995), ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ (1994) earmarked his success. The success of these two films paved the way for numerous other movies.

Undoubtedly, Aditi Rao Hydari, an actress of the Indian film industry, resembles the women of the royal family. Hydari is no doubt one of the prettiest actresses of Indian cinema. She has pleased the audience with her charisma in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi films.

 It may be interesting to you that the stunning and charismatic actress belongs to not one but two royal families from her maternal as well as the paternal side. Aditi was born on 28 October into two royal families.

She is the granddaughter of Akbar Hydari and the grandniece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, who is former Governor of Assam. She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, and made a decision to explore her talent in the film industry.

Riya Sen

Riya Sen, renowned model and actress, hails from a family that has remained associated with films for many generations. Raima Sen, her elder sister, Moon Moon Sen, her mother, and Suchitra Sen, her grandmother, are actresses and have remained part and parcel of Bengali and Hindi film industries for many years.

Bharat Dev Varma is her father, and she is related to a royal family of Tripura from her father’s side. She was born on 24 January 1981 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Ila Devi, her paternal grandmother, was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi was the Maharani of Jaipur. Indira, her paternal great-grandmother, was the only daughter of MaharajaSayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda.

Following the footsteps of her sister, mother and grandmother, Riya also decided to join the film industry and became an integral part of Bengali and Hindi film industries thanks to her talent and performances.

 By participating in the Hindi film ‘Vishkanya’ (1991) as a child actress, she started her acting career. The film turned out to be a moderate success. It took almost a decade for Riya to make her debut as a leading heroine in ‘Style’ (2001), a sex-comedy film. Bhagyashree Patwardhan

Renowned actress Bhagyashree, who is best known for her first and only successful Hindi film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989) opposite superstar Salman Khan, is actually related to royalty. The beautiful and exquisitely dignified lady belongs to the Patwardhan royal Marathi family of Sangli in the state of Maharashtra. Her father, Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan, is the present King of Sangli.

Bhagyashree began her acting career with a television show called ‘Kachchi Dhoop’. The show, directed by veteran actor and filmmaker, Amol Palekar, did well on Doordarshan. The success of the show led the actress to do more shows like ‘Honi Anhoni’ and ‘Kisse Miya Biwi Ke’.
